Hi my name is Whitnee Springfield and I have worked as a massage therapist for the last 3 years whilst earning my BSc in Physiotherapy with First Class.
I have a background in aerial dance, calisthenics and fitness which has given me a strong understanding of the body under the demands of sport.
I have also worked extensively with the wider population from a variety of occupations including desk-based, driving, commuters, and those āalways on their feetā.
My understanding of anatomy lends itself for precision when identifying and targeting knots and problem areas. I am known for firm pressures and a science-based approach to rehabilitation, utilising a variety of modalities including massage, PNF, stretch, mobilisations and movement.

Sports Massage
Sports massage is a therapeutic technique designed to promote muscle recovery, enhance performance, and prevent injury for active individuals. It involves the use of various techniques, including deep tissue manipulation, stretches, and mobilisations, to target specific muscle groups, reduce tension, and improve flexibility, ensuring the body moves more freely.
I am trained to deliver Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), a stretching technique that involves alternating between contracting and relaxing muscles. This technique is particularly effective for improving range of motion, reducing muscle tightness and improving muscle function.
First session: Choose between 60 and 90 minutes (includes consultation).
Thereafter: Choose between 30, 60 and 90 minutes.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique aimed at relieving muscle tension, reducing pain, and promoting overall relaxation. It involves the application of firm pressure and slow, deliberate strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. This type of massage is particularly effective for individuals who have developed tightness or discomfort due to lifestyle factors such as prolonged sitting, repetitive movements, or stress from daily activities.
This type of massage is ideal for anyone experiencing ongoing muscle stiffness, back pain, shoulder tension, or general discomfort. If you sit at a desk all day, are on your feet for extended hours, or experience recurring stress-related tension, deep tissue massage can help you feel more relaxed, aligned, and energised.
First session: Choose between 60 and 90 minutes (includes consultation).
Thereafter: Choose between 30, 60 and 90 minutes.

Relaxation Massage
Relaxation massage is a soothing, gentle technique designed to help reduce stress, calm the mind, and restore emotional balance. Through light to medium pressure and flowing strokes, it encourages deep relaxation, relieving tension and promoting a sense of well-being. This treatment is ideal for those dealing with emotional stress and anxiety, as well as individuals who lead busy lives and are seeking a moment of self-care and relaxation.
By focusing on overall relaxation, this style of massage provides a peaceful space for you to unwind, helping you feel centered and rejuvenated. Perfect for anyone looking to de-stress, improve mood, or simply enjoy some quality āme-time.ā
First session: Choose between 60 and 90 minutes (includes consultation).
Thereafter: Choose between 30, 60 and 90 minutes.
Exercise Therapy
If you are looking for long-term results including pain reduction, injury recovery and an overall increase in quality of movement; exercise is key. The focus is to increase functional movement by improving flexibility, strength and stability throughout the body and targeted areas. This process is ideal for both active individuals and sports enthusiasts who seek to recover from injury or enhance performance, as well as those looking to improve their overall health and fitness.
As a physiotherapist with a background in calisthenics, aerial dance, and flexibility coaching, I bring a unique perspective to rehabilitation, combining strength, flexibility, and body awareness to help clients regain optimal movement patterns and reach their full potential.
A personalised exercise plan will be provided.
Available online or in person.
First session: 60 minutes (includes consultation)
Thereafter: Choose between 30 and 60 minutes.
